Who We Are
Kidney Warriors Network is a nonprofit community dedicated to supporting children and teens living with kidney disease and the families who care for them. We were created to bring comfort, understanding, and connection to families navigating the challenges of chronic kidney illness.
We believe no child should feel alone in their journey, and no parent should feel unsupported while caring for their child. Through emotional support, education, advocacy, and shared stories, we aim to build a safe and hopeful space for every kidney warrior.
This community is built on compassion, lived experience, and the belief that together, families are stronger.
Founder
Kidney Warriors Network was founded by someone who understands this journey personally. Diagnosed with kidney disease at a young age and beginning dialysis at 13, this lived experience shaped a deep understanding of what children and families face every day.
That experience inspired the creation of a community where no child feels alone, and no family has to navigate kidney disease without support, understanding, and hope.
